Tournament

The challenge is simple – make a donation then to charity of your choice then register with us.

Please be sure to follow all DFO regulations for your regions. we are here to promote catch and release and proper etiquette to minimize harming the fish .

At the end of every month there will be a winner – the biggest fish takes the prize. Whoever is on the top of our Instagram page on the 28th day of every month, at 12 pm Pacific time is the winner.

A short video showing your catch and a measurement as well , as we do already for the DFO size restrictions but this time get it on camera . We must be able to see the tape clearly from the nose to the tail tip. Please make sure to mention in your video this is your challenge fish to qualify. If your catch is bigger than the current leader on our Instagram page, please upload the video on our website and we will authenticate the catch and update the page with the new leader.

Follow us on Instagram to see who is on top at any  given time so you will know who’s leading and who is your competition. This page will be updated as we get your videos.

Join our tournament Facebook group once you are registered to stay connected. Here everyone can share all their videos, even if not the biggest catch. There are no limits on size or quantity of videos. Please be kind and respectful of others as this all for good cause.

Event vision

We encourage participants to engage with viewers, have fun and to put forth foundations that support our communities so we can generate awareness towards these organizations .
Our team is dedicated to bring forward a challenge that is created solely around the idea of selflessness and acts that bring positivity.
The team at Big Chinook on the Hook challenges all off you guys and girls to get out there and donate – then come out and compete with us to win great prizes.
Our goal here is to give everyone a chance to compete and show what it takes to be a positive influencer by sharing your knowledge on safe boating and proper catch and release techniques, tricks and tips.
For all of you that are out there doing what you love we hope to give you a platform to be all you can be.
